while im in a battle and i try to do an elemental attack with someone it tries to show the 3 commands you get and almost completely freezes. everything else works fine but this(at least so far). ive set it to fast and nice and it always freezes at that one part.

any quick fix or is the .img im using bad?

the img should be fine (assuming its the GYR one) as i've used that one myself, could your pc not be powerfull enough?
what version of ePSXe are you using, is it the latest one?
also have you tried it with the different video plugins you have and do you have the latest of those?

Make sure you're using Pete's GPU plugin pack 1.77! If you're not, then it's likely that your graphics are the problem. Tell us a bit about your computer. How big is the hard drive? How old is it? As DH already said, it may be that your computer isn't powerful enough.
