Hello, I just finished downloading the Silent Hill (PSX) game and downloaded the PSX emulator with the highest amount of Downloads.

I would like to know how I can get to play the game? Do I need something else? How do I make the game work?

Seishiro Leonhart : You want to start up the emulator first. Once the emulator is up load the game file you just downloaded. It should load up the game otherwise it should give you an error.. If it gives you an error you need to post what error here so that we are better able to help you!

Seishiro Leonhart : The emulator should have had a .exe file come with it which is what you want to open or run to start the emulator...Sometimes you have to install the emulator for it to work... You should have also already unzipped or extracted all the files of the emulator to its own location, I personally use WinRAR for this.

Otherwise you might consider trying to download a completely different PSX emulator and trying if that works, I know when I first try to play a ROM on a new system it usually takes a few trys on different emulators before I find one that works for me.

Let me know if any of this works , or if you get any error messages it helps tremendously if you post the error because then I have an understanding of what the problem is.

LegolasJJH : *facepalm* It's explained.

I'm trying to open the files directly inside the rar file, I never knew I was supposed to extract them, but on the file list on the rar thingy there is no .exe file, maybe it will appear when I extract the files.

I'll try to extract them, if it don't work then I'll return to you.
