Legitimately, people who are new to Street Fighter are frightened a little bit by the sheer learning curve that Fighting Games offer, and the complexity and precision of it all.  Plus, most people you would talk to would be like, "YOU MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT RYU'S LOW JAB, OVERHEAD, TASUMAKI SUPER ULTIMATE MEGA FINISHER?!  GET OUT OF HERE NOOB!!!1!"  It's hard for new people to get into because of, again, the complexity of it all, and having rude and brutish responses to legitimate questions is just not right.
