This one's a tough choice, because my idea of an RPG is a little broader than a lot of people accept. I also love most of mine to death. ._.; But, currently, my favorites would have to be Okami and Soul Nomad (Mmm... Nippon Ichi).

I'll also chuck in Morrowind, Star Ocean 3, Vagrant Story, Chrono Trigger, Valkyrie Profile and Lufia.

While final fantasy is awesome(i prefer 6 and 7) I gotta go with crystalis for the original nes. Very difficult and didnt get the credit it should have. It did at first, but do to how difficult it was I think people just gave up and hence it lost popularity. Its still my favorite RPG.

Based on rpgs on systems snes had the best rpgs but other induvidual games liek zelda final fantasy pokemon all had theyre plce in the market. my favorite is final fantasy casue i like the storyline and the charcaters are cool aslo. Above all not on my opion but on sales Pokemon was on top not final fantasy.

oooh this is hard...
i've got nothin but love for the Final Fantasy series,
with in my personal opinion, VII and X being the best so far, but eagerly anticipating XIII !!
but my absolute all time favorite has to be Tales of Symphonia. cheesy dialogue, yes. but overall, the story is controversial, compelling, and basically I could play that game over 100 times and still not be tired of it.
