Well, a answer would be having a higher position on the board, but this is what happened while I was waiting to be a staff member. I was writing a review around 800 words long. Months ago, I got 75 Viz for making a review more than 500 words. It was 90 Viz minus the 15 from making a review thread. But when I did warmup review 2, I got 135 Viz from doing that review. Total was 150 - 15 from thread making. Then, when I normally post on a review someone did, for 10-99 words, I normally get 30 Viz at my current position. But now, I get 50 Viz for 10-99 word posts in the review games section, 100 Viz for 100-499 word posts, and 150 (?) Viz for 500+ word posts not counting reviews. I am not sure, but I feel like I get extra credit from my reviews. I am only a normal member, and the base value Viz for posts for normal members is 10 Viz. Is there something strange?

I'm pretty sure David amped up the amount of Viz you get in the Review sections at some point to encourage reviews to be written. There was a post about it somewhere saying the rate was raised significantly that I saw when looking through old posts.

You make more Viz based on the more words you post in a review.  The is a criteria to the side when you post a review.  Read that and I'm sure your question will be answered.

Well, I think when you post in a review by a different user, 10-99 words is 50 Viz. Whn I just reviewed a Game Gear game, I got 255 Viz. So the formula is like this if I am correct:

my base viz: 18 Viz
Viz earned when posting in a review: 50 Viz


50 Viz
-18 Viz
x 5 for posting a 500-999 word review

I have some issues calculating a big problem like that. I got 160, but my review I just posted had 255 Viz. I can try PM'ing the Local Mods with what I got in this post with the math.


EDIT: I felt stupid! I just got the answer for my 255 Viz.
