Congratulations to the Cardinals, in one of the most controversial baseball playoff games ever.

Reminds me somewhat of the Chicago White Sox post season game when the catcher "dropped" the ball and the Chicago player ran to first base and was called safe on a strike out. Of course the White Sox hit a home run after that play and went on to win the World Series that year.

By the way, Baltimore is up 1-0 in the top of the first.

I'm fairly certain the Braves were the better team tonight. I wouldn't say they choked. Not their fault umpires can't execute an infield fly rule correctly.


Anyway, go Baltimore.

If the Braves get screwed, I hope the Rangers do too.

I believe all 3 errors committed by the Braves came around to score. The Braves lost by 3 runs.

Yes the call was a joke. But the Braves definitely choked.

They could not hit with runners in scoring position when it counted the most.

This is just the strangest year, with Houston moving to the American League next year and now this one game playoff for a chance to play in the actual playoffs I just don't know what to say about it.   I understand this just add's to the drama of the post season and gets two more teams involved but, its just the fact that its a one game playoff.   They mostly got this idea from the tiebreakers the past couple years, and I would've seriously laughed if any team had tied for a wildcard spot.  Then they would've had to play the playoff game to make it to the next playoff game before they could even get into the real post season we all remember.  Congratulations to the Cardinals for getting back in, and now Baltimore is tied with Texas 1-1 on the top of the second.  It's going to be a nail bitter but I do hope the O's beat out the Rangers for the right to play in the Post Season; even though I wish the O's knocked the Yankee's out of the playoffs before-hand

Yea right now there still some time left in the games. Both team are really giving their best so the y could beat the other team. Still hoping that the O's beat the Rangers.

It's good to know that the league thought of everything when it came to the new playoff format, still interesting but we will see what comes of it.  Will the Wild card teams be able to keep the momentum? I'd like to see that happen it would be pretty neat for a team to play more games than the others (hypothetically) win it all.
