This is more of a polls/questions forum thread than a stories/simulation/art thread. I'll move it.

As for the question, it depends on what I am using it for. If it is something that I have to make it look neat and have no soft bulges in the paper, I use a glue stick. If that isn't as much of a factor, liquid glue for me.

Traditional glue always leaves a bubble under the two surfaces if you use too much, and doesn't stick well if you don't use enough. Personally, I prefer a mixture of flour, sugar, and water. It holds better than crafting glue, it's cheaper to make, and it's less harmful to the environment. Epic win.

I find the Glue Stick better since its a bit less messy than the liquid glue. Since, y'know, the liquid glue can squirt out if you have too much, and sometimes seeks through the stuff you're gluing together.

Well I have my opinions on both.  Liquid glue is great if you want durability, most people want that in their glue.  They don't want it to fail and not work anymore.  Liquids and water don't always mix together well though, so if you don't need durability, but you want the presentation to look nice, just 'stick' with that.  See what I did there?  Just stick with that?  That's a lame joke.  Liquid glue is better for people who are more organized.  It's easier to clean, and maintain a good project with it, while have good durability.  Glue sticks are better for people who still need to work on their gluing skills, and it can still make the presentation look nice.  Its also easier to use glue sticks if you need to re glue something, like if you put it in a different spot.
Overall though I think Liquid Glue is the winner.  (Even though some kids like to eat it...  I have no idea why.)

I use glue sticks because i honestly don't have time to sit there and wait on my glue to dry while with a glue stick i can easily wipe int one and do it again and again with different stuff.

I would use the glue stick when I need to stick a paper quick for a fast touch up. I use liquid glue if I'm doing a project since I like doing art and design. But if I really want something to stick I use super glue to make sure it does not fall off. ( I hate when it gets on my fingers it's really hard to get off )

I like glue sticks way more then i like liquid glue because liquid glue you have to wait a while for it to dry, and a glue stick is already dried so all you got to do is place what ever you are gluing together on the glue and its okay for to go. It don't take that much time to do it.

I have to say that I hate glue period.  LOL  Glue sticks are VERY ineffective and don't actually secure anything.  But liquid glue is so messy and distorts your paper.  If I HAD to choose one though, I'd choose liquid glue.
