FFVII ePSXe issue...

I have an issue with the ePSXe emulator working with Final Fantasy VII.

The game runs properly... but sometimes, some of the graphics do not work, like the pre-battle screen (when it gets all meshy and makes the "battle immenent" noise (kinda like a PSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHEEEEWWWW)). Then when in the battle screen, at the bottom of the screen where it is supposed to say my current HP, Mp, the enemy names, limit gauges and such, there's nothing, just a big, black box.

My friend said this was because I don't have the Pete's Soft Driver 1.8 or 1.9, but I can't really find where to download it, or if it will even be worth it (if it will work).

if you downloaded the plugin pack from GYR you should have all you need.
there is no 1.8 or 1.9 driver, theres a 1.18 soft driver by pete, but first try this.
open ePSXe. click the word Config in the menu. click Video from the drop down list.
click the top Configure button (this is the button directly below the name of plugin) on the new box.
in the bottom left corner of the window/page that opens click the button that says Nice.
click the button that says ok then click the button that says ok on the box as well.
start the game and tell me if that worked.

mm i believe that in the ePSXe the most used video plugins are pete's. so im assuming from your first post that even though you do ot have his soft plugin you might have his others(personally i am running 4 with different setups).

in the special game fixes box at the very bottom of the screen make the box next to it checked. then go hit the little box with the "..." in it. the very top says" adjust framebuffer access" check mark this. this should fix the problems you are having(it even says to use it for the problems you are having heh)

if you didnt notice, we already fixed his problem, there was no need for the special graphics fixes he just needed to use the nice setting.
