I'd say the Hammer Suit. Even if the Tonooki Suit comes in a close second, the Hammer suit's power is cool on how it breaks blocks by so much, and makes bosses easy. Mostly in Mario 3.

My favorite Mario power up from the Mario franchise would be either the fire flower or the penguin ice shooting and sledding power. I like the fire flower power because it turns any enemy you hit with the fire ball into coins and when you get 100 coins you get a extra life. I like the penguin power because it turn every thing to a block of ice and you can slide down hills and stuff on your belly and your in a penguin suit.

I'd have to say the Cape Feather. It gives you the ability to glide through the air... in a cape. It also gives you an awesome spinning power. Whenever I play Super Mario World, I always get the cape and try to speedrun levels with my cape.

Hmm.... I love the Fire Flower, but I think I'm going to go with the propeller hat. I loved being able to fly. It also let you get to the top of the flag easier. Star Power is definitely the best, but I think the propeller hat is much more fun.

The cape feather from Super Mario world was unlike any other flying powerup. It was a lot smoother than the Racoon Tail, and if you knew how, you could completely fly over some levels. But, you did need quite the running start, which balanced it a bit. 
I'd have to say that I also like the Hammer Suit because of the unique arc that the hammers were thrown in, and the fact that they could kill anything. I'd like to see the Hammer Suit return someday.

- on the third place goes..... Flower Fire; it is very useful sometimes but you can miss too very easy!
- On the second place goes..... Star Power: It kills everything in the way but it has a short duration!
- And on the first place goes..... drums, please..... the Tanuki Suit: It is very useful, you can fly with it, turn into a... rock, I think, and you can also knock your enemies with your tail!
