Well....Is net play kind of a online competitive thing? OR is it like a chat box thing too? Like Pokémon emerald, is it Wifi? Trading and stuff? Or not? Please explain it in full

It is like playing 2 player on an NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. Games that have 2 players (or 4 in rare occasions other than N64 games), you can play with another user using netplay. However, this is not the case with Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advanced, or any of the hand held portable systems. In real life, they play multiplayer with a connection cable, and that is either too hard or can't be recreated for a ROM.
