Honestly, all the people are saying super hard to get Pokémon. You would have to start out small, so I would try and catch a Larvitar, so I can evolve it to Pupitar then Tyranitar.

Treecko!!  In my opinion treecko would be the best companion in any situation. Weather it's to kick butt or just being lazy and hanging out. He's my choice hands down. I mean look at that adorable face. He looks like he would be a gerber baby. Not only that but once he fully evolves that gerber baby is a beast!

I would search as long as it took until I found my favorite Pokemon, Ralts. Since a shiny is like almost impossible to find, Rayquaza is super rare, and Dragonite would take a while to appear, I would catch the common Gyarados.
