Shiny Ditto! I caught it in Crystal, along Route 34. It was only level 10 and I still used a Great Ball because I couldn't do any more damage to it without fainting it, haha.

The first shiny I saw was a cubone in the indigo plateau in gold. It got away from me though. A while after that, I found a shiny golbat in the same area and jumped on the chance to catch it! In fire red, the only shiny I have ever seen was a espeon in the trainer tower. As of now, I have yet to see a shiny in soul silver except for the red gyarados, which doesn't count.

First shiny Pokémon was a shiny tentacool on route 128 for Pokémon sapphire, I found it on the water of course and to put it in easier terms, the place under the waterfall in ever grande city, I know this is slightly off topic but my second shiny Pokémon was a female pidove in Pokémon black, it's now a shiny unfezent lv.100 and I just traded it for a lv.100 darkrai yesterday.

I was playing Pokémon sapphire and there was a shiny kyogre... but I was like 8 and I thought it was a glitch so I turned the game off! Oh I was so sad when I found out what it was epic fail! That still bugs me to this day. Also recently I caught a shiny meowth in leaf green and a shiny golbat in platinum!

My first shiny was a pidgey in Heartgold which I caught on route 29 right by the berry tree. Was raising a newly hatched pokemon and switched to my level 100 Meganium and tossed a level ball when it showed up and didn't give me any issues with getting caught.

I literally hopped out of my chair lol.
