My first shiny was in my Ruby version. It was a Duskull and I thought it was really hardcore. I've taken that guy with me through all my games since then and she seems to be a good luck charm. When I put her as the first Pokémon I always seem to run into rare Pokémon. I ran into a shiny Fearow, Seal, and Zubat with her in Fire Red. I ran into a shiny Graveler in Heart Gold and that upset me because I would still have to look for a geodude for the shiny dex sprite. In Black I hit the mother lode with my Snivy being shiny without even trying for it and then I got a shiny ditto traded to me from Japan so take a wild guess who I use for breeding all the time. In Black 2 I didn't get anything until the Gible you get for beating that tower and then after that I managed to get a Zubat which was awesome cause Crobat is one of my favorite Pokémon.

I'll name one from the games I've gotten shinies. They're all legit.

Pokémon Emerald: Shiny Makuhita and Shiny Ralts, all on the same playthrough.
Pokémon Crystal: Shiny Koffing
Pokémon Pearl: Shiny Starly
Pokémon White: Shiny Trubbish
