Yes i am pretty sure Visual boy advance includes online capability if you have internet connection at the time of course.

I think you will only be able to trade on Pearl/Diamond/Platinum since those are the versions with online !

looks like i misread something, you will only be able to trade from a ds rom to a ds cart with the pc, because the gba cart cant access the wifi.
to trade from a gba rom to real cart get a slot 2 flash card

anyway, to trade pokemon between different gba rom saves:
get VBAlink: http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=99466423ccb646f6d980ee687244a925
get pokemon rom: http://www.get-your-rom.com/gbaroms.php?letter=p

Start two VBALink windows at once.
In Options > Emulator, uncheck Pause when inactive window
Inside VBALink go to Options > Link > Settings. and select "Single Computer"
Setup all the things like controls, save paths & so on
If you want to use save files, you must rename them - the save file extension for VBA #1 is .sa1 (e.g. Pokemon Ruby.sa1), for #2 .sa2 etc. (the same is true for savestates - #1 has .sg1 etc.)

need a step by step guide, then give me some time and tell me to work on it
