So I recently changed the headers on my profile and now the text on the headers are unreadable. So I tried to change the color in html but there was no change when I edited the profile. I found the code on an old thread on a post by
BNuge : Is it the wrong code?

Here's the codes I tried that were listed:

.fonts {font:10px verdana}

.fonts {font:10px tahoma}

I changed the FFFFFF to ADD8E6 and added the style tags.

edit: My bad it wasn't BNuge. It was his thread but not his post. Sorry about that.
edit2: So I got some of the text to change color except fir the green text (the links) they won't change.

I believe when you put the colon after color you can also type it out and say fir example, green. And, correct me if I am wrong, for the font you type it as well like with the color.
Like for all my layouts I usually use New Times Roman, but it all really goes down to personal preferences. Hope this helped a bit!
