Awww Aerith was my favorite character... i really enjoyed playing as her. The first time i saw the cut scene playin her theme showing her praying, showing Sephiroth on the ledge, preparing to strike. I knew it would happen. I was literally shouting at the TV for her to look up or something. I think i WAS in tears as her body slowly fell to the ground. Then I was yelling at Cloud to go fight Sephioroth for killing her...

Definately a sad moment for the game. and MOST for ALL games..

meh, not that sad, she was pretty annoying really, i think they tried to hard to make it devistating, and thats really what just made it not affect me that much, if they had spent their time trying to write a genually sad script then maybe, but they just tried to hard to make it emo, which really just f'ed it up

i agree it was quite sad the way the samarui sword just went straight threw plop eyes bulge death it was a little too stiff the way she did and in my opinion the happier endings really make me upset all that button pressing just to reach the final scenes ie: Yuna and Tidus reunion in X-2 actually my saddest moments for video games would have to be you get the health of a boss knocked of to last bits and BAM! your dead and have to start the bosses health again really saddens me that :0
