sonicmcmuffin : LOL Double post. I would love to see your single segment speedrun. Do you think you want to put it on speeddemosarchive.org if you could? Also, how fast is the speedrun? If you aren't sure, you could either have it timed somewhere on the web or use a stopwatch.

I won Emerald Hill Zone act 1, heh. I will wait for the link. The speed demos archive site is filled with the fastest speedrunners ever. Andrew Gardkis got 4:58 in one segment on Super Mario Bros 1. He even got less than 9 minutes in SMB2: The Lost Levels.

Stevie 764 : I'd need a lot more practice first if i was to achieve anything near the SDA time for sonic 2

in comparison to most speed runners of it i am stupidly slow... (it = Sonic 2)

Also i will be posting the video of me doing the run... please be aware of the fact i was kinda drunk when i did this and out of practice haven't played the game for a good while....

I think the SDA record is around 18 minutes for sonic 2 by a guy named Joe Stanski... My time for this run was nearly 34 minutes... Which is shocking;y bad.

I may actually post a run on this page that just records me playing. Just to prove that i can get at least get under 30 minutes...

If anything I'm embarrassed by this run... but i did do it without any preparation or practice.... So it's expected...

I will post the link here when it's uploaded VVVV
