First of all, hello, and I'd like to thank you for taking some time to read this thread, anyway, for some reason I can't play FF8, all I see is a black screen when I start it, I don't know what might be wrong, but any fixes for it would be appreciated. P.S. All other games I have work fine without any errors/glitches.

ok first im going to get you to check what you installed.
epsxe? SCPH1001 BIOS? zlib1.dll?

i cannot stress enough how important the first link is, while you can set it up and just play there can be games that dont play nice.

so which setting did you have to switch, im curious cause i have noticed a few people having graphic problems on FF8, so every bit of info helps me help them.

I made some changes to see if the other games I had played better on those, the changes were in the texture quality itself, I changed it to the better colors setting, and I believe that the Use FPS limit was the problem too, even though I'm not sure, so I just clicked on the "fast" button in the bottom of the configurations.
