Game and Watch Gallery 2 review for the Game Boy!

INTRODUCTION: Game and Watch Gallery 2 was released in 1998 for the Nintendo Game Boy. The game has more features, and better graphics then its predecessor. The game has 10 Game and Watch games. 5 original ones and modern remakes for each of them. There is Parachute, a game where you rescue people falling out of an airplane with your boat. If you don't catch them with your boat, and let them be eaten by an alligator 3 times its a game over. Another one is called Helmet. Where you have to get to the other house while the door is open. It may sound easy but there's falling tools like wrenches and hammers. If you get hit by one of these things 3 times then its a game over. There's also Chef. A game were you have to keep the falling food from falling on the floor. It basically juggling with style. As you progress things like the cat will catch it and make you unsure when its going drop the food. If you let the food fall on the floor 3 times then it a game over. My favorite is Vermin. The objective is to keep pests out of your home. You have a gigantic double hammer that you use to kill the little creatures. The best part about it is that you don't even have to push a button to squish them. It's automatic you just have to move. If the creatures get into your home 3 times then its game over. Then finally there's the worst port of Donkey Kong ever to exist on this earth. The Game and Watch is just not meant to play games like Donkey Kong, the hardware is too primitive. However the modern version is better but still sucks. Why didn't Nintendo just put the arcade version of Donkey for the modern version? 

GRAPHICS: The graphics in the modern levels are improved, better then the previous game. The original Game and Watch games have that look and feel that anyone will remember. The Graphics in the modern versions can improve a little but not much, pretty good for the Game Boy.

SOUND: The sound is just like the original. Even the terrible music in the mode select screen is still there. Despite this, the game is not supposed to be a technical achievement so I'm not going to bash the graphics and sound.

ADDICTIVENESS: The Game and Watch have their simple but addictive style of game play. I actually found the originals more fun then the modern mode. I wouldn't say you would be on for hours but you will still have fun with these simple games.

DEPTH: More features are in this game including 5 Game and Watch games and 5 remakes of them, the ability to save high scores, and even mail from an obnoxious mushroom guy.

DIFFICULTY: I found this selection of Game and Watch games a lot easier then the previous selection. I don't have much to say for this section but I think the games are at the perfect difficulty level
