hi. all the roms you will find on our site, http://www.get-your-rom.com/ work on any platform.
its the emulator that needs to be specific to the operating system.

so the answer to your question, you get the MGS1 rom we have on Get-Your-Rom,
http://www.get-your-rom.com/PSX-MetalGearSolid.php
and you get a mac emulator, try the ones on this page: http://www.zophar.net/macintosh/psx.html

if you need any help dont hesitate to ask.
ask JigSaw for any help setting up the mac emulator as he's a mac user too

to extract the files you'll need a program like StuffIt expander (doesn't come default on all macs anymore ) or Zipeg.

You can find both for free on the internet, though stuff it has an advanced version they try to make you pay for...

sorry about that, yes, you will need PSX bios to use any PSX emulator, and maybe some other files.

the bios file: http://www.filefactory.com/file/a2c6aec/n/PSX_BIOS_SCPH1001_zip
extract that to the bios folder in your PSX emulator folder

you may need these as well:
this dll: http://www.filefactory.com/file/affgb2f/n/zlib1_zip
extract it to your PSX emulator folder
