Fast food sickens me. No matter what you get, it's always unhealthy and disgusting. I believe their websites have all of the nutrition facts on them. You'd be surprised

Yeah, my friends and I rarely get fastfood anymore because it just makes us feel like crap, plus it's expensive.

If it's expensive then there's really no point. Fast food is supposed to be cheap

ziggy, not everything is bad. Some meals have a red tick. Meaning its approved to be healthy.

McDonalds is cheaper than any other fast food places, to feed me and my gf, its usualy about AU$15 (1 large McFeast, 1 large McChicken, both with frozen coke instead of normal coke), but if we cooked, we could easily feed us for AU$10 I think...

Also note that fast food ISNT ment to be good for you. If you want good stuff, goto freaking ToFu King or Vegi Delight (both made up), or dont be a lazy mofo and go cook yourself

One awesome thing about McDonalds here (not sure about there) is that you can customize your order, so if you want a McFeast, but bigger, get it with extra meat, extra cheese, or if you want a double quater pounder like a McFeast, get mayo, lettuce and tomato .

Sometimes people ask for fresh product, which annoys us at ourstore, because when product starts getting older we throw it out anyways.

I noticed you were discussing the Super Size Me movie earlier, it was because of that movie that the McDonalds Healthy Choice Range was bought out, it competes with Subway on a level ive never seen done before. As well as the Food Indexing was bought in. (not sure on the technical name) but now all the packaging at McDonalds shows how much Fat, Sugar, Carbohydrates, Energy ect. All legal requirements of retail food (which they were somehow exempt from before hand, as the choice to label their food WAS their own.)

If you think that McDonalds is all unhealthy and bad then you need to be welcomed to the 21st century. If you still think its unhealthy go to Subway, and pay $15 dollars for one meal or a Cafe and pay $20 a meal. It's your money your burning.

I get one of two things almost every time, Triple Cheese Burger (healthier than a Quarter Pounder lol) or a Big Mac. and Kathy always goes for the McChicken or Triple Cheese burger. And i think the McChicken actually has a health approved tick. Honestly, McDonalds is my favorite fast food place because it did first what no other place did. It showed information no other place did, it was willing to put its food under the microscope and people doubted it for years but McDonalds (in Australlia) uses 100% Australian Beef (which means more jobs for our Farmers)

But, why were on the topic of Favorites, Woolworths FTW! Backing our Farmers since... Crap i forgot the year... Meh...

Hmm, reminds me of a story I heard about a guy that ate nothing but McDonalds all of his life, gained so much weight, and went through so much withdrawal because he stopped eating it for awhile.

IceWave04, I don't know about your area, but the Subways in my area don't charge $15 or $20 for a meal. I would rather get a footlong sub there (turkey breast & ham, provolone or american cheese, lettuce, tomato, green peppers, and cucumbers), then get a "chicken" nugget at McDonalds at any time -- the cost is a whole $7. Oh, and if you have a subway card, 75 points will get you a free footlong. Hmm, no brainer of a choice there in my opinion.

McDonalds may have done a few things first, but it lost those ideas along the way. There's a lot more restaurants that have better and healthy food, and with better preparation. Just because it's advertised a certain way, doesn't mean it is.

IceWave, BigBob and myself are in Australia.
the prices here are different then in USA, just look at the exchange rate
plus i dont know about for IW an BB, but they canceled all reward programs in my state (NSW)
and as Bob said, they changed the nuggets (here at least) so that their breast chicken and not the scraps.
so BB, how about it, what is the chocolate sundae topping you guys have at Macca's?
is it melted fudge? is it a branded chocolate topping? i must know!

The subways in Australia had a reward system until 2007, or at least thats when I noticed they got rid of the reward system.

I think McDonalds around the world would generally have the same food items for sale, the only difference would be how fresh the produce is. Also I've noticed that a large amount of McDonalds stores are getting McCafe's, the sandwhiches on turkish bread are a bit expensive but they are nice.

You totally don't get what I'm saying here. I mean I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS COMPANY MAKES SO MUCH MONEY THAT THEY EXISTS WORLDWIDE. You'd think people would understand that the food is crap and not worth buying...also, their charitable work does not make up for all of the obesity and heart disease that THEY alone have caused

They alone have caused NOTHING, they do NOT force ANYONE to eat their food. They provide a wide range of HEALTHY foods and furthermore EVERYONE knows their food is unhealthy, but they choose to eat it ANYWAY without proper EXERCISE or DIET.

And with everything they do for sick kids, id say that they could kill 1 billion people and it would be worth it... (assuming they arent sick and kids : )

You're either a moron that believes that violent video games create mass murderers.

Or you're an ignorant hypocrite.

Choose one.
