If you look at it from here,you'll probally noticed I've reviewed two CN games so far,Dexter's lab deesaster strikes,and the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy,now while those are good games.The question is,is cartoon network speedway good? Now when you got the word "Speedway" in the title,that obviously means it's gonna be a kart racer in the lines of our preamo Mario,but is this a bad game? Let's look inside and find out!

Um why would there be a story in this game? You know what? Just skip ahead to the review.
Gameplay-7/10
Cartoon network speedway plays like your average kart racer,you and seven other racers(5 in this game) race three laps around the track to see who comes first.Now what would a kart racer be without weapons?There are a bunch of weapons at your disposal,ranging from turbo boosts(which copies off of Mario's mushrooms)to weenies(which work like koopa shells)there are five stars to collect in each track which raise your score,yes...there is a scoring system in this game.But the only time it comes to use is the challenge mode,which has you racing through each track trying to get the required score or at least past it.Well that's all I can say about the gameplay for now.
Graphics-6/10
Ok,the game is done in 3D,and while it's not too bad,the game does lag at times.In the top left hand corner of a race there is a picture of your selected character,and the picture gives various expressions depending on what happens,and the backgrounds look pretty decent.In fact if you look in the background of bravo burbs,you can see Johnny's house! And the level design can be a bit of a doozy too.I mean I was playing edopolis and stayed first place the whole time because the awesome shortcut placement!(Seriously if you don't get sarcasm,look it up) Well that's it for the graphics.
Sound-5/10
The game does have some okay tracks,but the biggest drawback is that there are no voice clips from the characters! I mean one little "Whoa Mama!" from Johnny bravo wouldn't hurt.but the sound effects aren't too bad,such as the jump sound effect is pretty nifty.
Difficulty-4/10
If there's one thing I can not get over,it's that this game suffers from a very very low challenge level.In fact I've never ever finished ln 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,or 6th! Yes the game is that easy for a kids game!
Depth-6/10
Cartoon network speedway offers a lot of things,unlockables characters,unlockable weapons.There are 6 characters to unlock,and I think 8 weapons to unlock,so that gives the game high replay value.I guess..
Addictiveness-7/10
While not as fun as our preamo mario's racing games,cartoon network speedway is fun for a while.It's not that bad, but I recommend you buy mario super circuit or crash nitro kart for the gba.
