Sorry, I tried to write something but I couldn't figure out anything great. I apologize for this only being half done. The man is supposed to be Leggy, but I didn't even get to revealing that yet.

Laughter. That's all he hears. Laughter. Not human laughter though. Crows, with their raucous voices laughing, laughing at what was wrought.
The man looks up. Ruin covers everything. buildings looking like they were knocked over by some giant hand. Huge craters like the footprints of some demon let loose. The sky stained red, with the blood and fire covering the land.
The man stands up, taking in the destruction. A voice in the back of his head laughs, and he cannot help but laugh with it. The scorched earth and blasted sky bring forth some sort of humor in him.
The man quickly cuts off the laughter, as he realizes he doesn't know who he is. He looks at his hands, which bear no calluses nor dirt, except the small amount that was on his hands when he woke. He wasn't a laborer. Looking down at his body, it doesn't look like he was a couch potato either, as he was quite slim.
His clothes were odd - some kind of robe, which though it once may have been white, was now stained with the soot. Though it was difficult to make out, there appeared to be a stylized letter "L" emblazoned on the front. Checking his pockets, he comes up empty except for a small scrap of paper with the words "Remember to go running" scrawled on it.
The man is shook from his thoughts by a familiar sound, something he can't quite make out. A few blocks away, a car explodes, leaving empty space where it once was. Pieces of the wreckage fly into nearby buildings, tearing out chunks of the stone and shattering windows. He realizes that this is the sound he recognizes - the glass shattering. Cars can be heard bursting for quite a distance, and the sound of the glass breaking tries to evoke some memory that he can't quite grasp.
One of the cars nearby explodes quite violently, and the man quickly runs into a nearby building, or at least, what is left of it. The doors have been blasted off their hinges, and scorch marks ring the doorframe. Graffiti covers the walls inside, many quickly sprayed "L"s like the one on his garment, many just as hastily scrawled out or partially washed off. Bullet holes riddle the wall in places, and the stairs are mostly destroyed, a large hole centered a little over halfway up leaving no way to continue.

Hey. I had a bit of a tragic week and still trying to recover from it and trying to get things back to normal adjusting to the changes in life. Well I'm back and hope I can return to team 1 and help this team win. Well, what do you guys say?
Does it have to he on rgr? Can't get on computer due to I don't have one until the 12th. Any way I can just play tu game on my phone? ???

This isn't a RULE per se, but I figured I'd bring it up, using the honor system...

I would PREFER you use the Time Trial mode for your screenshots, although I am not going to hold you to it.

It's just the easiest way to prevent people from saying "AW YOU CHEAT YOU USE SAVE STATES WAH WAH WAH"

So yes, please use Time Trial Mode if you want to avoid that.

I apologize for not getting a story in when I said I would... Lacking in motivation. .-.

Bleh, we are so far behind, I don't feel that motivated to do this challenge either. Not to mention that Super Mario Bros is not one of my strong games. But I guess I'll submit a score so I don't drag us down.

legacyme3 : The average takes into account every player's score? Or just those that submitted a score?

Unable to do challenge due to being on phone and no laptop right now. Useless here. Would of dominated the game with my awesome score since I heated the game without a game over many times

To be honest, I'm half considering quitting this... Our team is absolutely dead :|
Plus, the really extended times to complete the challenges just give people more reasons to procrastinate, Nya~...

So if I do quit soon, don't take it as a surprise. I'm still participating to help our team though. If there is much of a team, that is, Nya~.

I expected the extended deadline to give more people a chance to participate, since last time no one from this team participated.

The more I think about it, the more it appears that this team just doesn't feel like participating. One day, two, three, four... I could give you guys a week, and I'd honestly expect only 2-3 submissions.

What would YOU reccommend? I would end this at the end of the 10th... but I'd need all the teams to be ok with that.

legacyme3 : It just seems like nobody has any motivation towards the game at all. Plus some of our members are rarely on as it is...

Ending it at the end of the tenth seems like a good idea. Ending each challenge after only two days is also actually a good idea, being it makes them realize they don't have a ton of time, resulting in better activity hopefully, Nya~.

Well, I guess that could work out. I mean, seeing that it takes 4 days to submit a score is a bit much. I'll say yes. You can end it tomorrow night. Unless another captain says otherwise.

I concur. I think anyone who is going to go for a Highscore has already, and there's no need to draw the challenges out so long.
