Let's see. The worse video game system ever (in my opinion) was the CD-I. As everyone said before, bad graphics, sound, games, etc. It makes me wonder how long the developers worked on it.

The worst system ever would have to be everything nintendo has made *runs away from the crowd of angry vizzed viewers* (just jking) but seriously the worst in my opinion would be the msx (released only in japan) i mean i can only think of two games that were really good for it Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. Oh and DarkHyren was right that the basic plot of saving humanity has been done since way earlier in game history. but i disagree with him about fps games are only good on computers, i dont have the top of the line pc so a lot of games its either get on a console or don't play them, but like he said it is a matter of opinion. P.S. i dont think the xbox/360 is that bad but i will concede that microsoft cut a lot of corners on the 360 which gave it stability problems.

I think the virtual boy was a terrible console. Just really didn't fit the expectations it's labeled with. I hated that system. Wasn't anything too, too virtual about it either.

Wow... I don't know where to begin. Sega Saturn came to mind but I actually liked certain games on it. Hmm... I'm gonna go old school and say Intellivision for my answer. Back then there wasn't many options though, LOL, so i'm sure I would have liked Intellivision if I lived and played games at the time. A few years ago though when I tried to play all the games for it on the X-Box 360 I couldn't even play them. LOL, the graphics and controls were so awful to me that I didn't even know what was going on in any of those games.

In my opinion the ds lite was a failiure and the dsi XL also.

They're just the same consoles but then they look different.

A good console must bring new elements with it - if not,its automatic a bad console - in my opinion

The 2 worst systems for me are probably the original Game Boy (not GBC, that one's awesome) and Atari 2600. The Atari may have "revolutionized games", but it caused the crash of 1983, plus there's only about 3 good games on the whole system. DS Lite sucks too, and so does CD-I.
