When my cancer first started out, I was taken to the Barnes and Jewish hospital. Along with making me move physically, they had me playing the wii and the ds lite. See, I wasn't paralyzed from the waist down, I was paralyzed the other way. My right arm was paralyzed, and my right leg. My sister saw that I was losing hope. She took me to church with her. They were preaching about the eagles. They said that when the eagles shed their feathers, everything else is shed too. The eagles are flightless with no beaks to eat their food with. During that time, my mom had to baby feed me, cause I was right handed, and had hardly any control of my left when my right was paralyzed. I compared myself with those eagles. The preacher went on to say that other and stronger eagles would fly by carrying food, to help feed the beak less old fellows, and after a while, they grew their wings back, and flew stronger than ever. After that, I went to my doctor and told him about my visit with the church. He wrote me a prescription. I read the card. It said Nintendo Wii. I prayed to God that we could somehow afford this expensive system. The next doctor visit, he had one already ready for me, with Wii Sports. As I relentlessly boxed, bat baseballs, hacked tennis balls, and hit golf balls, I started to get the feeling back in my leg and arm. Then one day, my leg and arm tingled uncontrollably all day. Then all of the sudden, I felt like I could walk all the way to the Walmart we live next to. A pretty far walk.       Thank You God, Amen
