I know there a few good ones at Best Buy. Just go in there and tell them what you are looking for. I personally use my keyboard, but when I had a PC controller awhile back, the prices were not that bad. So try Best Buy.

To be honest with you, a USB Xbox 360 controller isn't that expensive, and it's super comfortable and works extremely well with a lot of games. The only thing that's kind of weird is playing SNES games on it, because A and X are swapped with B and Y, but really, who looks at the controller anyway? I think you can find them for about $30 new, and they have a nine foot cord, so that's a plus.

If you have a Paypal account I'd recommend that you buy the Logitech F310, which will be compatible with virtually any emulator:
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/gaming/controllers/7360

I only say this since I bought it from there and use it for the RGR.

You could also buy it with your credit/ debit card I think, but I say Paypal since I don't have my card number on any sites besides paypal, amazon, and ebay.

Yeah, I agree with tRIUNE here - a Logitech usually works well. I have one that's really similar to that, the only difference being all of the buttons are labeled by numbers rather than letters like that one. It also comes with software that will let you set it up for other games you have, making it easier to get set up.
