Usually it depends on which came first. Though really it's more in a situation of "I don't like manga versions of something that was an animé originally."

If it's a good animé I like it just as much as the manga. But this is pretty rare for dubs.

I know what you mean. Some dubs of awesome shows put the show to shame. I don't watch Bleach anime because it's voice actors aren't that good. The jap. voice actors are better. I can only stand the English dub when I'm playing the few bleach games there are in USA because i have to to play bleach. This isn't the case for Naruto though. But i do wish they made Sasuke(normal,act 1) sound like a kid. Now,when everybody's older,Sasuke(Shippuden,act 2) doesn't sound like his balls dropped at all.

i dont watch Naruto at all or read it, i dont like it.
as far as Bleach, the manga and anime are the same except theres some extra stories in the anime.
i watch the japanese version of Bleach, i cant stand the english dub, it sucks.
the jap dub rocks.

edit: waits for backlash i normally get when i say i dont like Naruto.

Lol. I would like to bash you for hating it but i won't. The extra stories are stupid fillers. Few fillers are good. I hate English Dubbed bleach. I can only stand it to play the games. I can easily listen to the jap. dub.

you know, i like the bountu series of Bleach, everyone just says its filler garbage but it does contribute to the story, and its sooooo much better then seizure causing flashbacks, ala dragonball z.

theres like maybe 5 minutes of new content per episode of dbz, the rest is flashbacks...

i once saw 5 minutes of naruto on tv. the dub made me cringe.
i saw another clip. i turned off the sound. they stood around for like 10 minutes "powering up". i got bored and switched it off.

The manga does a good job at action.However,they are only images and animation is one constant action.So,naturally,the anime can have better actions because its not pictures.

I saw the post in the general forums about how this a almost dead board. So I decided to put my couple of cents in and say that I absolutly enjoy Anime. I have watched a lot of Naruto (eng dub) and some episodes of Bleach (eng dub). I like them both.

I do prefer the Anime to the Manga. I could never get into the Manga for some reason. I am considered an avid reader by my friends (those little I have). But I like to zone out on watching my anime.

im up to like chapter 56 or something of the naruto manga. its not that interesting, but im waiting for some new web comics to come out from those i read, so im reading it anyway.

at least i dont have to hear any horrible dub while reading it

The English dub isn't bad. Believe me, the good stuff in Naruto is yet to come. You are so far behind you don't know. You are in the boring stuff. But seriously, you need to read every issue in order to understand.

So Yes I read a whole lot but not much manga as of yet but I am tring to ease into it. I started reading comic books again to get the feel of reading graphically. I would like to read manga but maybe I just need to find the right manga.

I just read the manga online. Go to onemanga.com for all sorts of free manga. It's where i read my Naruto and Bleach. Believe me, its much better than mangafox or another online manga place.
