How many people are going to the D.C.I Tour Premiere today? I'm so excited! I'm going with 3 people in my section (Trumpets!) and It's going to be AWESOME!
Also if you're in band and want to share your show ideas that either you thought were cool when you were in high school or the one's you're doing next year, I'd definitely like to know about them! The Marching Show we're doing this year is called
"Fairy Tales For the Modern Child' Which will be a different take on a bunch of well known fairy tales such as

Humpty Dumpty- At this point we're going to play "Fix You" by Coldpay
Little Red Riding Hood- "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap and there's more.

But another cool idea is what our band did in 2009 a show about T.A.K.S which is the Texas Assessment of Skills and Knowledge it's a standardized test taken by all Texan Students in the spring to show what we learned that year and our show consisted of Movements called "Math, Science, History, and English" Our Color guard  dressed up as pencils.  ^.^

Another thing if you HAVE great show ideas you can share them here too cuz I'd love to see them
