So, I downloaded and configured everything correctly as near as I can tell; I got the bios, the pete's GPU, the ePSXeCutor plugin, extracted 'em and configured it using the wizard.

Then I downloaded all of Parasite Eve disc 1 and as far as I can tell, I extracted it properly; put all the parts in one folder, extracted only the first one to the desktop, and then extracted the folder to the desktop again and it has a CCD, IMG, and SUB file in there.

Then I go to run it in ePSXe, select file, run .iso, tried selecting bot the CCD and IMG files, but it just ends up crashing.

If it is any help, I run Vista 64-bit Ultimate, have 2gb of DDR2 Ram, Q6600 Quad Core Processor, and an nVidia 8800 graphics card with 528mb of ram.

Sorry this was so long, I just wanted to be as specific as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok so to make sure, you have done the steps outlined here: https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=4062

with your system it should work nice, go into ePSXe, go to config then video, click configure under petes driver, click "nice" down the bottom left, select the resolution you want to use then click ok and ok.
if that doesnt want to work go back to the same spot and click "fast" then ok, ok.

personally i dont see the need for the ePSXeCutor, its really for those who need to change their settings on a game by game basis so they can just click a button instead of changing heaps of settings, but with the latest version and good pc you dont really need to do this much anymore.

let me know how it goes

Got it working, and have used a few roms, but now I'm having problems with Xenogears.

When I extract part 1, its an exe that when run creates anohter archive. Then when I try to extract that one it says its corrupt. Tried it a couple times, all the same result, wondering what I can try to do to fix it.

I was having that problem with disc two of it, but I had no issue with disc one and I've been playing it with no issue so far. I've mentioned that in another thread and it's supposed to be fixed at some point hopefully but maybe if this happened to you with disc one there's some deeper issue... or the problem is on our end, heh.

i downloaded all 4 parts of disk one.
i extracted them and got an executable.
i ran the executable, it made a file called Xenogears Disc 1.iso
this file is run in the emulator.
i ran it in ePSXe to check and it works fine.

so i can only tell you to re-download and try again.

im off to try part 2 now, please bear with me rocksome

It's fine, DarkHyren. I think it'll be plenty of time before I have immediate need for disc two anyway, haha. And I understand about being busy and taking time to get to things like this. :3

I feel so useful. I found something that was broken and now it's being fixed, and I just washed a pot for dinner-makin's.
