Xiledx : LOL. By the time you reach middle school and high school, you are gonna start slacking off and getting too much homework. Once you realize you needed your homework done, you will probably do your homework the night before or the morning it is due and put a wrong date just to make it look like you did it on time. I always do that .. I do that every time when we have home works to be written at a bond paper ( also in note book , book , etc. )

I've never done it; and I wouldn't get away with it. My teachers always knew when homework as due and they always knew when I was lying (even thou I try hard not to draw attention...maybe that's the problem lol).

I always write the dates on everything as soon as we get them; even if I don't do it for a day or two. Sometimes I simply forget to actually do them until it's almost too late.

The only exception is if it's on the computer. Then I write the date it was assigned for sorting purposes for when the final exam comes. That way all my files are not scrambled around.

If one of my students comes in to make up an assignment, I always have them put the date of the assignment (not today's date). It's not to make it seem as though they did it on time, but just because it's easier for me to deal with in the gradebook if I ever have to re-enter their grades or make corrections.
