This isn't even remotely a review. It is more of a rant. Even if you don't like the game, it still has to be at least 100 words. And it still has to be more than 'this game sucks'. Critique different aspects of the game. Moving to Game Discussion forum.

Just a tidbit, I think when you said 'you cannot even beat the first gym', you probably mean 'I cannot even beat the first gym'. I say that because I have personally beaten this game, so it isn't impossible. As a matter of fact, because the pokemon are so strong from the start, leveling up is a much faster process. You probably just didn't have the patience to do it.

I think it is a very good game to but I don't think Jake does. He gave it a 0.1 rating because he couldn't catch an eevee even though I could.

There is a difference between a bad game and a bad player. In this case, I believe it to be the latter. This game isn't hard. If you rush through it like an idiot, there are sure to be difficulties, but Pokémon games have always been about grinding your Pokémon to be strong enough to face the next challenge.

On the level 8 Eevee, what were you doing, throwing balls without weakening it? Capture depends on several factors, the Pokémon's HP, its level, it's willpower(basically if its willing to let itself be caught or not) and any side effects. The best way to catch something stubborn, is to weaken it heavily, then paralyze it or put it to sleep.

The start is actually fairly easy ESPECIALLY with the fast forward space bar, holy crap I love that thing, it just takes patience, run from evees, fight pidgeys and all others, simple as that
