Well, a friend pointed me to this site so I decided to check it out due to the fact that I wanted to try Final Fantasy 7 and see what all the fuss was about it. I downloaded the files needed and extracted them. For disk 1, I get a Image Cue file and a Bin file.

After that I downloaded psx emulator version 1.13 and downloaded SCHP1001.Bin file and put that in my BIOS folder.

After that I thought I was done so I loaded up the emulator.

I loaded the game using File>Insert CD Image using the path to the Image Cue file. When things started it lead to the credits and it plays it over and over again for some reason.

I know I'm doing something wrong so if anyone could suggest anything that would be great!

thanks in advance

i tested it and it works fine doing exactly what you said you did.
did you try pressing any keys/buttons during the credits?

if its still not working it may be your pc cant run it.
try epsxe in that case. you can follow my directions posted here: https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=4015
