This game is pretty good. Its got a new special stage,A new character,And it has more depth.

Knuckles The Echidna is a good addition. I just hate it that Robotnik tricked him!

Knuckles IS a tough cookie,Huh?

But not a problem for Super Sonic. Still though...

This game gets a 9.4. Its really good,And it recommend it for people who need something to do,Or for the good platformers.

I played this in Sonic Mega Collection, it is a good game, despite it being easy and having only 6 zones.

I played this game on Sonic Mega Collection also. It is a good game but I was hoping that it would have a few more stages at least cause the first Sonic game had 6 stages as well. At least you can play Sonic 3 and Knuckles as a bonus though.

I've played this one a lot of times when Kid... On a Sega emulator that came in a CD I got for my 10th. Birthday...

This game was the turning point for sonic and Sega. This game was an ok game, not as good as the first and second, or spinball. This is the last decent game sonic until Sonic 4. The game ended the era of good sonic games, then more terrible games came out for Sega platforms (CD, Saturn, DreamCast), then eventually even worse games for the Nintendo GameCube. The game overall is a 8.9 from me. The levels are amazing, with new items and characters. It just wasn't the same as the 1st or 2nd. It seems like they tried to merge concepts from the 1st and 2nd sonics, added new items, and knuckles. The just sent Sonic and Sega afterwards into a down spiral, as Mario was taking over with 64.
