I'm going to hand out some awards again this year to people I think really deserve it.

Generous member of the year: JigSaw
WHY? well he's the only member to contribute money toward VFB.

Most active member of the year: iBOCK3
WHY? he's posted more in the past year than anyone else. To see proof, go here this, this displays how many posts each member has received in last year (past 365 days). In 2nd is me (same as last year), and than ziggy in 3rd.

Newbie of the year: TIE: WiredWabbits and Anestheero
WHY? It was really hired to choose between these 2 so I picked both as a tie
WiredWabbits has been very helpful in the game development forums to other members and has made many posts in the short time he's been here and has also showed great majority in his posts, setting a good example of how a member should act.
Anesthehero has been incredibly helpful in the Get-Your-Rom forum, don't know what I would do without his help in that forum. He's also got a pretty impressive post count for his time here and has also helped make this forum more active.

Staff member of the year: Dragon Master
WHY? Well he's on all the time it seems like and he does a great job at what he does. He's not one to start a flame war but usually does a good job at preventing one. 2nd place would go to MichaelVash, his help with Vizzed Board and even GYR has been very much appreciated.

Most unique member of the year: John
WHY? He's a crazy cat!

Board Developer of the year: Bigbob85
WHY? Again, he's really the main developer. Randy gets 2nd place but bigbob has done most of the work for vizzed board in the past 2 years now (though not much lately but has fixed the arcade as of very recently). Where would we be without Bradly...

Leader of the year: Davideo7
WHY? I'm the owner, that's why


And now for the Member of the Year award....














Member of the year: JigSaw
WHY? Well me and him put together a website called http://www.get-your-rom.com and he has had no problem with me advertising Vizzed Board on it in many ways, and has also helped me advertise Vizzed Board in other ways. He's also a member I can count on due to the fact that he's usually on MSN messenger and if I need quick help with something or advice, he's usually available.


So lets give a thanks to JigSaw and all his commitment to Vizzed Board.


And sorry for those who didn't get awards, but I could only hand out 7. 2008 was a much better year for vizzed board than 2007, so lets hope the activity trend keeps up and that 2009 is an even more successful year for Vizzed Board.

Well a lot more people would've earned awards but I only had time to do 7, like last year. Maybe next year we'll have more awards and let the users of the board vote, I justed figured there weren't quite enough active members to have voting this year.

Also note that as of this month the new Vizzed Board is 4 years old!
