I don't really know what to thing. I love Elder Scrolls, but every time I try to get into another MMO after retiring from WoW, I just wind up getting bored. No MMO has been able to keep my attention for anywhere near as long as WoW did.

This recently just happened with Star Wars TOR. I enjoyed the game, I just wound up getting bored with it in about 2 months.

I think this could turn into a really great MMO as long as they pay attention to the game mechanics, story, and how quests are handled along with player interactions. I haven't really played any MMO's and I've seen WoW but it never really caught my eye as something I felt like playing. This, on the other hand, does make me want to jump into the MMO genre.

This has the potential to one of the greatest games of all time. There is no other series that has the amount of lore and history (story wise) than Elder Scrolls.

If they can take the open world non linear nature of the previous ES games and translate that too an MMO this will be a huge success. There is very little known about it so far but from what is announced, there will be single player dungeons that you can invite friends too (think Instances) and there will also be other dungeons that any one can enter at anytime. Just imagine all the PVP action out side and inside those big dungeons... I can't wait :p

I hope you can roll a stealthy character and pickpocket all the other players LOL

I'm going to be completely honest. I love The Elder Scrolls to death, really I do. I just have problems with people trying to make a single player game into an MMO because most of em don't turn out to be anything worthwhile. I'm definitely giving it a chance though.

I've recently found out that this game will have a skill hotkey bar like every other cookie cutter MMO. So I have kind of gone from anticipation to doubtful of how good this will be. I want an MMO where the combat is about accuracy and timing not another one where you just auto-target and mash the 1234 keys over and over.

I'd rather see it go F2P... If it goes One time pay, I MAY get it, but if it goes to a subscription format, I will NOT buy it. It's just not worth it, like WoW isn't for me. Would rather be playing DCUO anyways.

Also, just saying this, if they do go F2P... I hope there isn't something stupid like a level or quest cap. I mean, there can be sidequests that are locked or items that you can't get if you don't pay for the DLC or whatever, but if it ends up like Diablo 3's starter edition(Can only do 5 quests, level cap is 10), then I'm going to not be happy.

I have wanted to try a good MMORPG, but you always have to pay a monthly fee for them, which I am not willing to do. Besides, eventually they have to get boring at some point when you can't actually 'beat' the game. I used to play Runescape when I was in high school, but got bored. Every time I tried to pick it back up, I just couldn't hold interest for more than 2-3 days. Besides, I don't think I would be able to tolerate millions of people typing "Took an arrow to the knee" while playing this game
