To be fair, they remade Red and Green because they weren't compatible with Ruby and Sapphire. That being said, I still think remakes are inevitable. I'd love to see my beloved Hoenn in lovely 3D

I'd prefer to see a remake of Yellow, but I wouldn't mind having a Blaziken again to wreak the Hoenn region.

There has been talk saying that they plan on making Ruby and Sapphire for the 3DS. I honestly think it would be cool. I miss my Blaziken and Flygon...and Walrein for that matter.

That could be pretty cool... they made it pretty good the first time around so a remake might be kind of unnecessary... If they where gonna do it they should make the story line longer and put some cool events in it.

There will more than likely to be remakes. Nuff said.

However, the reason Red/Green got remakes is because there needed to be a way to get the national dex completed on the GBA without the use of AR. Getting the three starters without remakes were pretty difficult.... plus the other Pokémon that were both unavailable in R/S/E. The reason G/S got the remakes was just demand. I see no other reason other than the fans wanting it. 

I just find it weird that Generation III all of a sudden is one of the best generations of all times after someone mentions the word "remake". Not that I hate it, but I just find it very odd, since generation III was hated quite a while back.
