Overall - 8.5
Beavis and Butt-head on the Genesis is a complete different game compared to the one on the Super Nintendo. In this game, it is more of an adventure game. On the Super Nintendo, it is more of a 2D platform game. As for this game, it is pretty fun. I am a big fan of Beavis and Butt-head and I love watching the television shows. Having it to be as a game is not entirely what you would expect. It is a little pathetic on the Genesis version because on the main menu, the theme just sounds horrible, kind of like bad techno. Anyways, the game has a great adventure for Beavis and Butt-head. I guarantee you that you should try this game out.
Graphics - 10
The graphics are not that bad for a Genesis game. The way Beavis and Butt-head look are hilarious. The images of everything else looks fine.
Sound - 10
The sound is probably the best, but not perfect, thing you would like about this game. For instance, the way Beavis and Butt-head talk and make farting noises and all that other stuff is really funny to hear. The sound effects are very good too.
Addictiveness - 7
The game is not entirely addicting, but it can be something to play once in a while. I would play this some of the time.
Story - 8
The story in this game is what you expect (if you played the other versions of Beavis and Butt-head). The story starts off as Beavis and Butt-head watching TV and they see that GWAR is in town and they want to go to the concert to see them. Now they go and get their tickets, until a dog snatches it off their hands. They run after the dog and the dog decides to spit out. Then before they get the tickets back, a person with a lawn mower accidentally goes through the lawn mower and destroys the tickets. Now they are to find the pieces of the ticket (I think). I think that it is stupid if that really is the reason for this adventure cause I am sure that it would not be scattered everywhere in the world. That is what you get from Beavis and Butt-head.
Depth - 8
The game has some good features. For instance, you can go around picking up items (fun) and sometimes, you can use them as a weapon. Another thing is that you get to choose which place you want to go to from a TV set. Weird, but true. Everything else in the game is amazing.
Difficulty - 6
The game is a little difficult. An example would be the levels. There are some enemies that are hard to attack and/or avoid. Some of the time, you do no know where you are suppose to go. Once you know what to do, you basically know how to play the whole game. Other than those difficulties, the game is great.
Wrap Things Up...
Beavis and Butt-head on the Genesis is a great adventurous game to play. I highly recommend trying this game out if you have not already. If you like Beavis and Butt-head on TV, you sure would love playing the game about Beavis and Butt-head.
