Rules:

-1 Screenshot should show an overview map (press start while in edit mode)

-You must submit your screenshot submissions to this thread
-You MUST use the Vizzed RGR Plugin to take the screenshots
The Screenshot you submit has to be a screenshot you took with the RGR Plugin and the URL of the image has to be the same url of the image of the screenshot you took, you cannot upload your screenshot somewhere else and use that as your submission, you have to use the actual url of the images that were uploaded when you took the screenshots.


TIP:
You have to unlock the Design Maps mode by first completing Field Training. The quickest way to beat Field Training is to just select the last Field Training mission, "Fog of War" and beat it.


Once the month is over, users will be able to vote on their favorite. Voting will last for 7 days.


Prizes:

3rd = 1,000 Viz

I'm not sure I quite understand. When you say best, do yo mean like the most challenging, creative, fun looking, or is it just make one you like and let the voters choose? I am just asking so I have more to go off of if I participate in this one.

Okay. I think I get it. Although I have to say that I don't see how the 1st place winner got 1st place with that. Maybe I just don't see a design in there. Was is supposed to look like something?

Hmm that could be interesting. As I'm quite creative, I should have some good campaigns in mind. And it's been a while I haven't taken part to a contest since the screenshot hunter 1st edition, I think it was this one, sorry I have a short memory

Title: Kitty Land



Description:
Hidden somewhere in Wars World is a peculiar island in the shape of a cat.  The Orange Star and Yellow Comet explorers set up their headquarters on the island where they landed.  Everything was peaceful for a few months, until a map of the island was drawn up.  At this point, it was noted that Orange Star was in control of the cat’s head. . .



while Yellow Comet was in control of the cat’s butt.  



This deeply infuriated the Yellow Comet forces, so they set out to control the head of the cat.  Orange Star was left with no choice but to wipe the Yellow Comet forces off the island.  And so the battle of Kitty Land begins. . .

Tactics:
It’s a good idea to capture the two bases around the cat’s tummy.  These let you get your troops in the fight immediately, but they may prove to be hard to defend.  There is also a base in each of the cat’s front paws.  Their non-central locations make them easier to defend, but they deploy troops further from the battle.

Thanks a bunch. Having stories behind those submissions helps a lot. Without them, they looked like just custom levels that were about looks alone. I just have to think of a good story for this before starting with screen shots.

madison : I don't know if this was intentional or not, so I have to ask. In your description, you said the Orange Star had to 'wipe' the Yellow Comet forces off the island. Was that an intentional pun? (You used the term 'wipe' for the forces positioned on the cats butt)

rcarter2 :  Yes, it was intentional.    I was originally going to write "cat's butt" instead of "island" in that sentence, but I felt it was a little too vulgar for my tastes.  Ha haaa.

Wow. Looks like the Aldynes competition is getting a lot more attention. I am getting some ideas for a story for this game, so once I finish it, I will be making a submission. Can't just let madison win by default for being the only submission

Can someone teach me how to put pictures in this thread like what Madison did... I'm kinda new to this

nebula : You right click on the image that you want to put here and click 'copy image URL'. Then you type in the post box . Remember that those are the box parenthesis and not the rounded ones and make sure you have no spaces in between anything.

EDIT: I just noticed that my little explanation didn't show up because it tried to read it as an image. Pretty much look to the left of your typing box where it tells you what to type when you want to put on an image. 

OK. Now for my map. This map is called the Borderlands.
The Black Hole army has been field testing for a very long time. They are aiming to see which CO has the best assault potential. They have even "forged" a map of what they consider a tournament-based arena. As of now, they are testing CO of both Orange Star and Green Earth. They have their eyes on Andy for he has no weaknesses, balanced stats, and his ability, hyper repair. Although others are looking at Eagle's superior skills at the skies. They are currently making some final judgment on the CO ability usage and they are hiring some strategists to command them to the best use.






This is a multi-strategy based map. There are so many options here that I cant list them all precicly. So I well list some of the basics.
-starting strategies-
1) capture cities at all flanks
2) focus on one flank to capture even your opponent's side of cities
3) make some firepower early to get the upper hand sooner
AND MORE!!!!
-mid game strategies-
1) focus all power to one path to over come opponent
2) divide your power to take 2 or 3 paths at the same time
AND MORE!!!












So here you have it. A competitive map for determined players. Hope you can have fun in it!

-OK the, the first picture is called "borderlands" and it is between the name of map(first line) and the part where I talk about the story(The Black Hole.....)
-the SECOND AND THIRD picture is the two outposts of the teams in the first gap
-the last three pictures is in the second gap and its order is "path 3" "path 1" and then"path 2"

Title - Leggy's Rendition of Vizzed Board at War







This is a fog of war map.

Both sides get 9 soldiers to start and the soldiers start at their bases.

Both sides have exactly 1 main advantage and 1 disadvantage.

Red
Advantage - Base is further away from center of map, requiring travel.
Disadvantage - Further from normal bases requiring quick mobilization

Blue
Advantage - Close to grey cities
Disadvantage - Close to center of map.

The strategy for both is somewhat similar. Red's goal is to capture the lone base at the end of the road near the blue base. If they capture that, the rest of the game will be elementary. For blue, their goal is to keep red away from their side of the mountains. Given their airports this shouldn't be insanely difficult.
