Which games specifically are you having a hard time getting to work? N64 games? The N64 roms/emulators actually take a lot of resources from your computer to run so if your graphics card is on the older/weaker side, that could be the cause of your problem.

Honestly it could be any number of issues. So moving forward, the more information you can provide us, the better our chances to be able to help you are.

I have had this problem before too. Download CC Cleaner and use it. If you already have it, even better. Do it in full, and get rid of whatever you want. The plug-in itself will not show up. Then, when the cleaning is complete, just Download the updated plug-in. That should work just fine.
