Lately I am starting to realize how diverse media players can be. I mean, yes, I have had iTunes for several years now, but only recently have I started to understand just how impressive it, and other media players are. Seriously, there are more audio and video file types than there are... I cannot think of a comparison, but believe me it is a big list. Some media players even stream radio if you have downloaded the appropriate file.

So here is one thing I should point out about this poll. I am allowing multiple votes because some people may need more than one depending on their circumstances. Take me for example. I have iTunes because... well, who doesn't? But I also have VLC. I only recently heard about it and decided to try it out. It does not require as much memory to operate, and it can handle more file types than iTunes and Windows Media Player --yes, I have a PC.

So it helps me to have more than one multimedia player. How about yourself? Which one do you prefer most? Do you need more than one like me?

The only one that I really use is Quick TIme sometimes. It's usually only to see a video on the internet using my iPhone.

I really dont care that much, what ever it opens with i use, typically that would be media player and itunes.

I just use iTunes a lot. I've used QuickTime before though.

I sync my iPod with iTunes, but right now I'm just listening to music directly off the iTunes.

I don't really use any special Media players, I use my browser, and sometimes my phone to listen to music, etc. That, and I don't own anything for that.
