I played World of Warcraft for 4 years but stopped for good about a year or so ago. I just got sick of it. Once you get all the gear you can get, all that's left is crafting and grinding. (Since I didn't like PVP after WOTLK)

Been playing it since Vanilla Beta. It is an alright game as of now. I won't lie, it was MUCH better in Vanilla/BC than it was in Wrath/cata  It is all based of your preferences.  Playing the game with friends make the game 100x more enjoyable. They have many nifty things like refer a friend/etc  to help you level up fast and quick.

I quit WoW to play SWTOR because I am a Star wars fan and all of my friends and I went there.

In the end it is up to you. A new expansion is also coming out so you wouldn't be staying at that max level for too long.

What I would try though if you haven't decided an answer yet is do the free trial. It cannot hurt and it is free. Any more questions by all means feel free to ask them
