i had one while i was drinking but it seems i got hooked on just one drag i know its my own fault but its really hard to give up

sadly yes...I do smoke cigarettes. I've been smoking cigarettes since a young age...12 years old. I hung out with the wrong crowd and now it's an addiction I can't help. Don't get me wrong...I don't mind...because I enjoy smoking a cigarette,especially before and after a long day at work.

I've been smoking Marlboro's Reds 100's since I was 13. I moved to mexico for 10 months last year and I started smoking Bensons & Hedges. Those are WAYY easier to smoke. It's like breathing warm air during summer. (:

John : Well this is a little bit of a yes/no answer but I briefly tried smoking as a teen after being raised against it as I come from a family of heavy smokers. Like most of the things related to my teen years I question myself often as to what the hell I was thinking. Thankfully, it didn’t last long but I do have concerns about the repercussions of health-rated problems linked to second-hand exposure. I strongly advise any kids that may be reading this to stay away from smoking and even drinking because what may seem cool to you now really isn’t that cool down the road.

I do not. And I do not plan to. I like my lungs.

Hello thread, I do smoke and there has never been a time where I wouldn't want to. When I was young I would even roll sticky notes up and try to blow smoke rings after igniting the paper. No one in my family smoke I have just always had this curiosity with fire.

Nay I say! I do not. I mean, it looks cool of course, but, I would not do it. It's too expensive, has no health benefits, has that smell that I will never get used to, etc.

I do not smoke, I have tried smoking on multiple occasions in the past, but decided that it was not a habit for me.

Not gonna lie, I love puffing away! Which is the main part of addiction.. Like it too much to give it up hehe. I'm not one for saying though that I do it cause it's "cool" nor do I think it looks "cool". Fact is, my mum's a heavy smoker and I started smoking after just having the odd drag when I was drunk and it gradually escalated into a proper addiction.. But yeah it's hard to describe -why- I like it, just really nice after a meal, when I get up, waiting around for someone etc.

I smoke these nasty Newport Box 100's. The most harsh cigarette you could possibly inhale....and here in New York...any pack of cigarettes costs 10$....I'll be quitting soon if they rise the price of a carton in Florida and Virginia..because that's where I get my cigarettes shipped from. I have friends in FL and VA so it's a lot cheaper. A carton here costs over 100 dollars..and only 30 bucks in VA and FL.

Ive been smoking since i was 13 or 14,but hopefully i will be able to quit pretty soon cause im starting to notice bad effects from it.

Joking aside, yeah. Only smokes I want to bother with are the candy kind. I need to get to the local general store, and buy me a few packs of those things. Not the candy cigars, though. I like those, but they are gum. Not as funny to eat.

Smoking never looked cool to me. It just looks boring... I mean, you're putting burning paper in your mouth. May as well be buying Action 52 for the original price. I know I will take a bit of a sip of an alcoholic beverage, but just with family if we decide to have it around. This is when I'm 21, though. Even then, I doubt I'll bother.

A lot of my family smokes, and I tried to get my grandma to stop. I wrote down the number to that Smoke Away campaign thing when I was little, and gave it to her because I was concerned. The help it did was for naught when a woman she worked with died after she quit smoking. Yeah... At least I was a good girl. It was in 2003 when I did this, I believe.

I also splashed water at my sister when she was about to light a smoke once. It was funny, but backfired. She's a big smoker still. My dad used to smoke cigars when he did his work outside, but probably doesn't smoke cigars now.

I can't resist but tell this funny story about the cigars. One night, my mom was in the garage, and she saw a little furry critter. It was a mouse. What was it doing, you ask? It was eating a cigar. True story.

Just to end this, a lot of my family smokes, but I don't really bother caring anymore. Heh.

I don't smoke, though my whole family does, sadly, and not just cigarettes if you know what I mean.

Nope, I don't think it looks cool either. And just the smell alone gives me massive headaches. Everyone else in my family does though and it's always a pain going anywhere with them cause I'm always smelling the smoke.

I do smoke but not like a fiend. I only smoke if i get really stressed out or if I'm super super board.
