Do you agree with the analogue signal being turned off and only getting TV on a digital signal?

Didn't this happen 3 years ago, or something? I remember commercials about the switch over. However, I don't really have any quarrels with it. It doesn't effect me, personally. I already got digital TV, so I didn't have to do anything anyway. But really, I don't really know anyone who was upset or in any way effected by the switch over either. What negatives were there really? The small percentage of people who were still getting cable via little antennae on top of their TV or house is the only thing. But that small percentage shouldn't be what slows down the new generation of broadcasting technology. Digital over analogue is pretty much like the difference between DVDs to cassettes. Can't imagine anyone voting no on this poll.

Sooner or later the old tech needs to be cut to allow progress, its inevitable and beneficial.
rcarter2 : well the uk only did it like, 5 months ago, i had to rescan my box every 2nd day for weeks =(

I seem to have lost a channel too which is weird/ annoying. Works in the rest of my house.

My understanding is that this needed to be done to free up frequencies so they can be used for other things like radios. This just happened in Canada (or at least in Alberta) last year.
