Thats why when you open up a geocities site or myspace url you get ads, if you want your own hosting, own domain name with no ads, it's gonna cost you.

Yeah, could you imagine having to pay for your internet connection AND a monthly fee (or something of the like) for each of your favorite websites? I couldnt do it...

Thinking of it that way should make ads a little more bearable for some people. They have never really bothered me, except for pop-ups and pop-unders. As long as people really display them right, they are not a problem. I have seen websites with them so well integrated, you would never know that it was adds you were looking at.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
