So my little brother always has friends over, like all the time. I don't mind him having his friends over, they can be entertaining, but I have a small problem with it.

You see my brother always complains about me "hanging out" with his friends too much when ever they are over. His friends always stay up really late when then come over, and I'm always up late, my brothers friends end up talking to me, or something... For some reason my brother always goes to bed early when he has friends over too...

I don't purposely try to become friends with his, and spend time with them, like my brother accuses, but I just generally tend to talk to people if they are there.

What can I do to resolve this problem?

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is to just tell your brother that you're not purposely trying to hang out with them, they just want to hang out with you.

Or maybe tell him not to go to sleep so early. (I assume they start hanging around you after he falls asleep)

Also, let him know that you're not stealing his friends or infringing on his territory, and that his friends are allowed to talk and be friendly towards whoever they please, whether that be you or other mutual friends.

Well I think you got to have a sit up with your brother ....This would most settle this matter...also what you could ask him..to join his friends together with you...and then try to judge if you are "hanging out" with his friends too much when ever they come to your house.
