You know we all seem to go through some version of your tale at some point in our lives.   I know there are times where my parents promise things they just can't seem to produce.   My dad when I was a kid promised he'd get me a racing kart so that I could start racing.  It was my dream when I was little to be a race car driver.  He had the kind've money you'd need to buy a little kart; but then when he made the promise shortly after everything changed.   He lost out on money, and he wasn't able to afford it anymore.  Now when I was that age I didn't understand why he never got me that go-kart.  But as I grew older I didn't hold things against him.   He tried and that's all I wanted out of him.  He knew that I wanted to race, but he just couldn't do everything I wanted, but he did make some effort; which was more than my mother would've made I know that for sure.  I love both my parents but anyway I am glad you can still play musical instruments, it is a wonderful thing to be able to do, and a wonderful hobby.  If it wasn't for music I would probably be some sort of maniac somewhere going nuts lol.   But playing music helps you in your studies, there are more people in a music performance class today that are in the top group of their class and that is saying something.  Keep on rocking what you play, and play your heart out! Its the best thing you can ever do I hope this message was helpful in some sort of way, from one musician to another

SunflowerGaming : This thread is almost ten months old, and the last post in it was a month ago. Juliet hasn't posted in 51 days, so what made you think you had anything of relevance to add to this conversation? I'm not trying to be mean to you, I just have no tolerance for that sort of spam, especially during the Tour de Vizzed. Please don't make me close any more threads this month.
