I think that the xoloitzcuintli are the ugliest dog breed (that is the Mexican hairless). That is the breed that Sam the Ugly dog was (if you haven't seen a picture of him, just google it. Scary). Even though he is an exceptionally (frighteningly) ugly dog for his breed, they still are not the best to look at.

I'd say its a tie between bull dogs and pugs. Both breeds are pretty ugly. I've never really liked pugs either because ever one I've met has been mean. Now bull dogs are a different story. I don't think I've ever met a mean bull dog.

Just in case nobody looked up Sam like I suggested, here are some pictures of him.







In case anyone is wondering, yes, this was a real dog. He really looked like that. If you want proof, you can find videos of him. He was the reigning champ of the Ugliest Dog Contest (Yes, that is a real contest). He died a while back though. But guess what. They actually bred him to carry on his ugly legacy......

I can't really say that I find any dogs repulsively ugly. I think all breeds of dogs are cute in their own way, especially as puppies.
