Well, I am in USA, so the general consensus for wherever I have been is December 25th.

Most of the people I know don't celebrate it religiously though and it's mainly just a commercial holiday.

Eddy88 : Well you see, I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian, therefore I celebrate Christmas on the 7th of January. Almost all people in many Slavic countries are Orthodox, therefore their public holiday will be on January the 7th.
