Well, we are all racist to an extent. It's not our fault, it's the way society is. I won't bore anyone with the details (y'all can look into that yourself)), but I will say that most of the racism now is more institutional rather than the blunt "I hate (insert race here)." However, I will say that some of his act can be culturally insensitive. Conversely, he's a comedian and so I don't have any negative feelings toward him for it.

In moderation, I like Jeff Dunham's act.

I think he's just a funny guy. But now that you mention it, he does see how he could be considered a racist. But I like him for his comedy. I wouldn't repeat his jokes in front of certain people, though.

Jeff Dunham is the most unfunny and unoriginal piece of garbage on television today. He has had several Comedy Central shows, which were each exactly the same, word for word, with the order mixed up a little. All of his puppets are stupid looking, and he's not even a good ventriloquist. I do not know how this man got the following he did, but I guess it's part of the nature of American media today, people will watch anything. It's really sad that this is what passes for humor these days.

Oh also I think most of his puppets are a subconscious metaphor for his latent homosexuality.

Jeff Dunham was kind of funny the first time I saw him. But, I hate pretty much all of his puppet's personalities. They're just dumb. And then I realized that each show had the same jokes, only slightly changed, and he was added to the list of things that everyone seems to like but me.

Honestly i couldn't care about what he does outside of his acts.. He makes people laugh and thats all that matters to me. 

He's a pretty good actor. The Jeff Dunham show was pretty good. I don't know why it didn't even last a season, though. Only 2 episodes. That sucks.

His standup is really good though. I like him. He's a good ventriloquist.

I thought i liked an american comedian once.

Turned out he was canadian.
UK comedians just have much better material.

Jeff Dunham as a person isn't Racist in my opinion. An Element of Racism is usually present in some of his Acts. Ive only personally seen "Sparks of Insanity" and "Controlled Chaos" and the Racism in question usually comes from the dolls and while that is technically from Jeff's mouth its spoken from the Dolls in order for it to be acceptable.

You have to remember any comments he has that one may consider racist are only in his show because he would think they would be funny, and they along with most of his material do achieve that.

As for the reasons for his divorce, the reason you stated I'm not sure where you got that information. I'm from the UK so I'm maybe not so in the loop with the news over there but to be honest isn't his divorce really something personal that we don't need to be discussing on a website that is primarily based on playing Retro games?

i think he is hilarious. nearly every comedian has racist jokes in their act.

He's just so amazing, and specular with his puppets. He has really made it into his own original way to the top. He has really proven be made one of the funniest people of our time, and just by using his puppets really amazes me. I sometimes wonder how he really does it?
Like what goes on in his head? It's really something you really wanna figure out. I guess going through his bio would help knowing how he made it. I know a bit about how he was adopted by his Christian family, and he has been a ventriloquies since he was like 7 I believe. He's been doing it all his life, and now he has his own DVD specials, and has his own show. Congrats to him.

Personally, I think that Jeff Dunham is funny. But, other people I have met think he is stupid, a cheater, or boring. I love his stand-up, but his show was really boring.

As a ventriloquist, he is the most impressive that I have seen in a long time (there was a guy I used to see as a kid who was just as good, but I don't remember his name right now.) But since he is a prop comedian, it is only because of the dummies that he is funny. Without them he has very little in the way of decent comedy. Watch his short-lived TV series and you will see what I mean.  (Another good example of a prop comedian is a guy who goes by the stage name Carrot Top.)

As for issues such as racism brought into his act: that's why it is an act. Races make fun of each other; sexes make fun of each other; fat and skinny people make fun of each other. It's all usually meant for comedic purposes without having any fowl intent.
