I think I was 2 or 3. I started out playing Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon for the Playstation, and didn't become a Nintendo addict until maybe 6 or 7 with Super Smash Bros. (Nintendo 64) and Starfox 64.

   I was about 6 or 7 years old when I play my first video game.  My dad bought the Atari 2600 series back in 1981 and played the games like Donkey Kong, Adventure, Air Land Sea Battle, Chopper Command, Othello, Berserk, Pac Man, and many others.  But my first Arcade game I played was either at Show Biz Pizza (or today it is  as Chucky Cheese's) or at an arcade room called Arcade Palace in downtown West Lafayette, Indiana, or commonly known as Purdue University.  I remember playing Centipede,  Mario Bros., and Dragon's Lair.  But it wasn't till 1985 when I bought my first Nintendo system.  I had Super Mario Bros., Contra, Legend of Zelda, Wrecking Crew, Kung Fu, Q-bert, Metroid, Super Mario Bros. 2 and these are to name a few.  Also, in 1985 Nintendo Power the magazine game out.  But the very fist magazine was actually a news letter.

Around three I think. I've seen my sister playing a bugs bunny game with her game boy, I thought it's cool so I borrowed her game boy and also the cartridge. She watched me play until the end of the game and helped me out passing through the parts where I got stuck.

When I was six, I got my first video game in the form of a Game Boy SP that came with Pokemon Leaf Green.

I was like 3-4 years old and I played super Mario all star for the snes.

When I was about 1 I set up and climbed a few boxes and played Mario's game gallery on the computer

At the age of what must have been seven, my older sister and brother taught me and my little brother how to play Super Mario World.

Well I'm from a gamer family and have a gamer sister which is 4 years older than me so I always watched her playing but to use a controller and play all by myself I think I must have been 3.... Maybe 2 but this sounds kind of unrealistic.... But there was a time when I was 6 were I stopped playing because I was in a kind of  shock from watching my mother playing resident evil, silent hill and parasite eve all the time >__<

I was four or five when I took interest in electronic gaming. When I watched my brother play Duck Hunt, Amagon, Friday the 13th, and Wild Gunman I became hooked ever since.

pikmin124 : I probably started when I was about 3. I had a worse-than Sega Genesis that had 6 games built in but I still loved it.

I started when i was 3 years old with an Atari 2600! I remember playing superman, spider man and pitfall! Soon later my dad bought me a NES!

I don't know how old I was but first game I played was Atari the good old days when games was new and was a challenge to beat.

I was 4 when I started playing video games ---- first game  Super Mario Advanced 2 -Super Mario World

I was 3 years old. I was afraid to ask my dad and brother if I could play because at the time we only had a NES so only two people could play. Finally I asked them if I could play and they said they would start me out with a simple game called "Super Mario Bros," and I have been playing games ever since.  

Before I can remember it, but from a family video I saw that I was about 2 and playing Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES.

I was 3 or 5 when i first played PS1.

I was four when I played my first game and was sonic the hedgehog on the genesis. It was great.
